What is Awana?
Awana is a weekly outreach and discipleship program for kids.
This Scripture-based club is a mix of exciting games, relationship building and Bible literacy that help kids develop lifelong faith in Christ.
Every club meeting at Awana consists of:
- Handbook time – where clubbers work in small groups on scripture memorization, earning awards for completing sections in their handbooks
- Game time – high-energy games on the Awana games circle
- Large group time – where each group comes together to dig deeper into God’s Word, worship through songs and receive awards for all of their hard work
Within our Awana program, there are 4 clubs for different age groups:
Puggles is a foundational curriculum for young children that communicates biblical truth in a fun and age-appropriate way. The teaching for the Awana Puggles program is built around four Big Truths found in Scripture: God Made Everything, God is Great, God loves us, We give thanks.
Our Puggles program takes place during Women in the Word (Ladies Bible Study) on Tuesday mornings from 9:30 – 11:00 am.
SK-Grade 2
Sparks ignite the curiosity of kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ.
Grades 3 – 6
T&T, Truth & Training, ushers tweens on a journey to know God and His Word, love and need their Savior, and live out their faith in the ever-changing world around them.
Sparks and T&T (JK-Grade 6) takes place each Tuesday from 6:30 – 7:30 pm.
Awana’s first night is Tuesday, September 12 at 6:30 pm. Parents are invited to stay for this first night to see how Awana runs and learn about how to help disciple their kids at home using Awana.
