The Grind serves marginalized, low- to no-income community members from throughout Renfrew County.
Men’s Group
Men’s group meets Saturday mornings in the fellowship hall at Calvary. This is a non-formal time of prayer and Bible study in the form of moderated discussions through Biblical passages or spiritual topics. It’s an open environment where you’re free to explore and discuss both spiritual and life issues from a Christian perspective. Women in the Word
Each Tuesday, 10:00 – 11:00, Women in the Word welcomes ladies of all ages to Bible study. Emphasis is placed on studying and discussing God’s Word by answering questions to help understanding. The goal is to be more like Christ for having spent time studying the Bible. Pre-school child care is provided by volunteers from the group. Calvary Youth is a ministry to help students in grades 7-12 discover what it means to become a passionate follower of Jesus Christ through corporate worship, biblical teaching, small groups, and games. This is a safe place not just for believers, but also for students who may have never heard the Gospel, to grow in friendship and fellowship.
