Calvary Baptist Church will be hosting a Plan to Protect training session on Saturday, January 24th, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Plan to Protect is our church’s child protection policy and is an important part of ensuring that our church continues to be a safe and caring place for children, youth, and all vulnerable individuals in our care.
This training is for anyone who serves in children’s ministry, youth ministry, or any area involving vulnerable individuals, including pastors, deacons, and anyone in a position of trust. Youth volunteers are also encouraged to attend so that expectations and boundaries are clearly understood.
If you are currently serving and are no longer able to continue, please let your ministry leader know.
As part of updating our volunteer records, we will also be asking volunteers to complete a new online form and, if needed, apply for a Criminal Reference Check. More information will be shared soon.
