Good Friday is the day we remember what Jesus did for us on the cross. On that day, Jesus willingly gave His life to pay the penalty for our sin so that we could be forgiven and brought back into a right relationship with God. What seemed like a day of suffering and loss was actually the greatest act of love and sacrifice the world has ever known.
Taking time to remember the cross helps us reflect on the depth of God’s love for us and the incredible grace He has shown. It reminds us that our hope, our forgiveness, and our salvation were made possible through what Jesus accomplished that day.
